I think this may be the same Beetle I saw driving around in a snow storm last winter.  I have a feeling this Beetle has seen a lot over the years.

An increasingly rare sight in Pennsylvania. Up until I was maybe 7 or 8 years old, you’d see at least a few Beetles in every parking lot, then it was like they all just disappeared overnight, along with all the MGBs.
